The true Ms. Universe 2015 - Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach

The evidence says it all.  It;s just sad that some other contestants from the Ms. Universe pageant have become bitter even if they were not the ones affected by the decision.  It's only obvious that Pia is both beauty and brains.  Comparing their answers, Ms. Philippines' answer has more substance than Ms. Colombia's.  Isn't it that Ms. Universe should be both beauty and brains?  Not only beauty or because you are latina?  And to the rest of the contestants who became bitter saying a lot of not so good things against Ms. Philippines, well...where have all the world peace stint gone?  Thanks Ms. USA for supporting Ms. Philippines.

CONGRATULATIONS Ms. Philippines - Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach

Why I recommend watching A Second Chance?

CAUTION:  EXTREME TEAR JERKER

After 10 years, the sequel to One More Chance has now been released - A Second Chance.  It is the same Popoy and Basha but with a more mature situations in life, the married life.  This movie tackles the struggles, the excitement and the choices married couples encounter.  Popoy and Basha is a typical married couple in their almost seventh year.  They had dreams, one was having their own engineering company which they were able to fulfill and another one was a dream house that Popoy planned to build in two years.  But, sh*t happens, reality bites, not all marriage is a bed of roses.  This is reality.  But at the end of it all, love prevailed.
I would highly recommend this movie especially for married couples, those in their seventh year, you know, the seven-year itch?  Maybe...also for those in a relationship.  Here are the five reasons why you should watch this movie.

1.  Your love story is what you make it.  Watching this movie reminds me what my mother would usually tell me, "Ang kapalaran ni Pedro ay hindi kapalaran ni Juan." (Peter's destiny  is not Pedro's destiny.)  Basha, despite having temporary separation with Popoy still advised her friend to get into marriage for each of them have different love stories.  Indeed, your love story is what you make it.

2.  There are still men who cannot be easily lured by other women.  Yes, I was so proud of Popoy when he was all drunk and an old fling took him home and waanted to kiss him BUT he refused because he loves Basha so much.  Congratulations to men like him!

3. This is the real definition of marriage.  Being married is not always happiness.  Sometimes it is sad.  Sometimes it hurts.  Sometimes it is ugly.  That is marriage.

4.  Never ever lie to your spouse.  This is one lesson to look out for in this movie.  Hopefully, more men would watch this.

5.  The hugot quotes (quotable emotional quotes).  Yes, there are tons in this movie and enjoyed each and every quotes.  Some of them are:

"Why is it so easy for you to see the worse in me?"
"Why do you make it so hard for me to see the best in you?"

"I was best in loving you but the worse in letting you love me."

...and the list goes on.
