As part of my 42 @42 birthday bucket list, I have booked for a thanksgiving mass on my birthday and a mass for the soul of my mother.
Praying for both the living and the dead is not only a tradition but holds a special place in my heart as it is my way of lifting up to heaven my thanks and my wishes. As for the soul of my mother, I know she is enjoying heaven. I just asked God to take care of her there until we meet again.
