Here's another guest sharer on my blog....

At first, when i heard this question, i began asking myself, yes, how did it change me?

This years theme is all about rekindling the gift of the Holy Spirit...its pretty odd for me ,considering that Im still young in the community, less experienced than the others, yet I had given the privilege to sat among the  6000 delegates ...So i asked the Lord, what is your message for me ? He asked me to close my eyes.

it seemed like yesterday , i could hear the angels singing with our music ministry,i felt peace as the Holy Spirit began to fill the arena,I could still hear His voice thru the sharers and speakers and with the diversity of culture,I see Jesus everywhere.

All over the world, single matured, widowed, separated, wives,  CFC wives and our beloved young at heart sisters heed to Gods call to rejoice and proclaim Gods faithfulness in the last 25 years in the CFC Community . We have put our yes to the big yes of Mama Mary and we entrust all that we have and what we need to make this journey possible. And yes, God indeed have proven, that nothing is impossible.Limited with resources, physically challenged, sleep deprived and endless limitations is nothing compared to the joy that the Holy Spirit had filled them.

The Holy spirit invited us to feel the gladness with His presence, the difference between being happy and feeling the joy in the Lord.

A change of heart

When you allow God to consume you, as He draws closer to you every single second of the day. When you recognize your weakness and ask the help from the Lord to change your heart. When obedience is of utmost importance. When  being humble instead of being right .

A change in perspective

When you are no longer a worrier but a prayer warrior. When faith is greater than your fear. When you discern and ask the affirmation from the Lord. When you accepted  Thy Will be Done

A change in Me

When you started defending your prayer time. When you started opening the Bible. When you started seeking Love rather than knowledge. Change in priorities towards HOLD teachings, assemblies, formation and meetings.

Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.Commit your way to the Lord, trust in Him and He will do this.

As we ended the three-day conference, i was humbled and challenged to a 180degree turn around. Am i able to do this?

YES i am.

May we continue to keep up the good fight of faith and persevere towards Holiness.

Let us soar high on Fiery wings.

Restless Heart

Love endures in adversity
It shows prudence in prosperity
It is strong in suffering
It rejoices in good deeds
It is safe in temptation
It is generous in hospitality
Cheerful among true brothers
Patient with the faithless
It is the spirit of holy books
The virtue in prophecy
The salvation of the mysteries
It is the strength of knowledge
The bounty of faith
It is wealth for the poor
Life for the dying
Love, is everything.

To the one that got away

It took me years to tell you things that I never and cannot tell you personnally after the break up.  The things that I wanted you to know, how you have hurt me so bad, how i have been hoping that we would get back together and how I managed my life without you were all kept hidden somewhere in my brain.  Now that we are "okay" and somehow managed to forego of our history, I want to say to you the things that I never said in the past.

The hurt was equally reciprocal to the love

I can say this now because I have moved on and obviously you did too.   Thinking that the hurt was too bad after you left me, it overshadowed the love that we had when we were together.  Remembering the moments of laughter and fun of just being together somehow erases the pain of being apart.  We were so compatible then that even with the colors of our clothes matched without planning or talking to each other.  You pampared me so much that I actualy forgot how to do things without you.  I was always protected by you from any harm be it physical or emotional.  You would always be the shield so that the hurt will not reach me.  You ttook all the blows and the jabs of life for me.  We were partmers, the best that we could ever be.  And I thank you for being loyal and faithful to me.  That is why you will always be my favorite "what if."

Maybe this is how I manged to move on.  The hurt that I experienced was equal to the love that you have showered.  Back then, I wanted to get you back, fight for you and take you back into my arms but you have decided that you do no want me anymore.  I had questions, lots of them.  Like what have I done to deserve this?  Can I do something else to wake up from the nightmare?  Would you love me still?

I loved you then, do I love you still?

After a few years of parting ways, we eventually acted like adults.  Are we friends? Yes, maybe. But they say if ex lovers became friends, it's either they never loved each other or they are still in love with each other.  I loved you then I am sure of that.  The question now is do I love you still?

You are the one that got away, let's keep it that way.

I never wished tto be with you in another life maybe because we were not really meant for each other.  In another life, there would not even be an "us".  Not even in another time when we are older, wiser and bolder that there would be a chance for the two of us.  You have slipped away from me, you will always be the one that got away.
