Archangels, protect us

I believe angels.  I know and feel that they are there  to protect and guide us.  My angel passed away three years ago, Lucita Pallada Saulo Hernandez, my mother - the best for me!  Though she is not physically present with us, she still watches over us just like working overseas and leaving her at home.

Angels I believe are always there to protect us.  They are God-sent body guards especially for children.  When we were young, every time we cheat death during accidents, our parents would say, "saved by your guardian angel."

As I grew older, the role of angels in my life grew more vague.  Maybe because i thought that somebody who told me he loves me would protect and guard me from hurts.  But then again, he was not an angel at all :)  Would these human posing as angels in disguise could be real angels?  How can they be when with just a small misunderstanding, we say things that hurt the others' feelings to the soul.

Humans truly are  different from angels.  For we, humans have a lot of flaws.  Angels, hmmm..God made them perfect, I guess?  They were not programmed to hurt us but protect us.  Angels are there to guide us in every step of the way.  Sometimes humans though different from angels become our angel.

Happy feast!!!

Eid holiday 2016

Train to Busan

Train to Busan is not just an ordinary zombie apocalypse.  The movie taught us about selflessness, sacrifice and love.  While the zombies' goal are just to bite, the surviving humans had to run for  their lives but as they run to survive, along the way they were given choices to be selfless or not, to be child like or not and to survive alone or not.

This movie made me cry because of how intense Gong Yoo portrayed his father role up to the point of sacrificing his own life just to save his daughter.  There are a lot of heroes in this movie, father and father to be - who sacrificed their lives for the safety of their loved ones.  While there are heroes, there are also villains and bitches.  Those people who just thought of themselves and no one else.

I just love this movie, not because i love Opa/Papi/Daddy Gong Yoo :) but because it taught me a lesson of sacrifice, selflessness and love.

Saint Mother Theresa of Calcutta, pray for us

Today, another new saint has been canonized by Pope Francis, Mother Theresa of Calcutta.  Mother Theresa has taught us to live simply, care deeply and love unconditionally especially the poorest of the poor.  May her legacy be our inspiration as we struggle to give mercy and compassion to our neighbors.  Saint Mother Theresa, pray for us.

Aldub YES: Yearning Ended in September

Today, 1 September 2016, marks another milestone for ALDUB, ALDUB nation and of course Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza.  From a split screen romance to now a couple.  Finally, our yearning for Maine's "YES" ended today, September first.  In Kalyeserye.  From split to real romance.

They were in the studio's Aldub spot where they had dates and special moments where the standee of ALDUB is.  They were both sitting down.  Alden looking at Maine, almost crying, said:

"Maine, tinatanggap mo ba ako?" (Maine, do you accept me?)
"Mahal mo ba ako Maine?" (Do you love me Maine?)
"Mahal kita" (I love you)

ALLAN K:  "Sagot na Maine true to life na yaaaan!! (answer Maine that's for real)

Then Maine in a slight pause finally said....

"OO, Alden, Mahal din kita!" (Yes, Alden, I love you too)

Then God gave me you played......

And they hugged.....

YES!

The whole ALDUB nation was uncontrolled, yelling, shouting, crying and all emotions rolled into one when the Kalyeserye sweetheart, Maine Mendoza finally said, "OO, Alden, mahal din kita." (Yes, Alden, I love you too).  Allan K as always was in his usual prodding and shouting with "kilig to the bone marrow teasing".  Team abroad where I belong flooded the chat groups, tweeter and FBs with all the emotions they were feeling at that moment.

This is the moment when our yearning for her YES finally ended.  Mark this day, 1 September 2016, when Aldub became real couple.  We will now be starting to count weeksaries and monthsaries of Alden and Mained and continue to count the ALDUB weeksaries.  Not to forget, please continue to pray for both of them as they journey into a new phase of their relationship.

YES, finally the Yearning Ended in September....

From split to real!!
