Step by step renewal of passport:

1.  Get an online appointment from https://dubaipcg.checkappointments.com/
2.  Download application form.  Better to fill this out before going to the PCG.  The form is also available in PCG.
3.  Attach the following to the form:
    Copy of old passport's data page and visa page
4.  Go to passport processing area - left side upon entering the PCG.
5.  Pay to Cashier.
6.  Fill out voter's registration and submit to encoding area.
7.  wait for your name to be called.
8.  Encoding and pictures.
9.  Check online after six to eight weeks if passport is ready for collection.

What to bring?

REMEMBER:  Two copies ALWAYS!

1.  Two copies of your passport and visa.
2.  Two copies of the minor's passport if document is for minor.
3.  Two copies of the minor's guardian or your SPA for your minor.
4.  Two copies of the affidavit or SPA form which can be downloaded on the website.

Where to go:

1.  Step 1 is C1 window (notarial services.  It is located on the right side hall upon entering the PCG.
2.  After getting the receipt and one copy of your documents, go to Cahier (2).  This is located just at the back of the notarial services.  Go out of the hall and then turn left then straight and you will see the Empost and Armex guys which brings us to step 3.
3.  Pay empost for local and Aramex for Philippine document sending before paying the cahier.  Fill out a sticker form which these guys who are very helpful will give.
4.  Pay at cashier.
5.  Wait for five days or one week.

One lazy day

Well, here I am, lazying around. I just actually woke up.  I mean I just got out of bed.  I woke up early as usual but was just too lazy to get out bed because it's my DAY OFF!  So, what do I usually do on a day off? (In case you care to know :))

1. Watch anything about ALDUB over and over again.  Aldub is LOVE. I live a busy life but I still have time for my loves, our bibis - ALDUB.  There is this thing that only ALDUB nation would understand.  A thing that is hard to explain.  A feeling that only LOVE can explain.  And that is, ALDUB, my friends.  They make my off days lovely.  That's too much of LOVE hi hi hi.

 2.  Keeping myself updated on what is happening to my beloved country, the Philippines.  I am no political analyst nor economic analyst.  What I only know is that I love my country whoever the president is.  I still believe that the whole Filipino people could unite and once again bring back the glory that we once used to enjoy.  We may have different opinions and different "bets" but at the end of the day, we still call ourselves, Filipinos.  Filipinos who can go through high or hell waters but still can keep the smile on our faces.

3.  Movie marathon.  Today, I started with a bit of a drama and romance - NOW IS GOOD

"My life is a series of moments that can go...."

This movies is based on the book Before I Die by Jenny Downham.  It is about a girl named Tessa who has leukemia and is about to die.  She made a list of things to do before she dies.  One of them is to find love which she found in her neighbor, Adam.

4.  Crafting and coloring.  Another in my 42 at 42 bucket list is to learn a new craft.  I have enrolled for the Crochet 101, Give to Learn and Learn to Give project for ANCOP of our unit.  I also started knitting on my own using looms.

5. Neem tea and lemon grass tea concoction.  Well, the neem tea tastes awfully bitter but it really has good medicinal benefits.  Lemon grass and cinnamon stick are one of the best teas I have ever tasted.

And while doing all of the above, I am simultaneously doing my laundry and tidying up my closet.  Am I productive or just  lazy?  You be the judge!

To my anti-Duterte friend

To My Anti-Duterte Friend:

Posting your rants against PRRD on social media does not make you a good citizen of the Philippines.  In fact, it does not make you a good person at all.  You are just like the others (pro) who bash anti's on social media to the point that it becomes a personal attack.

I remember in one of your previous posts that you thought about voting for him but changed your mind because he cursed the Pope.  Well my dear friend, I just want to inform you (just in case you didn't know or refused to believe because you were blinded by hate) the Pope has already forgiven him so why cant' you?  You even had the nerve to post some bible verses that you used to vent your anger towards him.  Really my friend, do you think it made you a good Christian?

You are a brat! A useless one actually, born with a silver spoon.  You bully even your spouse and your colleagues.  You sleep at night and wake up the next day with only one problem, and that is what kind of coffee you will order from the coffee shop who not all Pinoys can afford.    

Let me ask you something, have you every tried paying your own bills? that is, water and electricity and not the credit card that you use when you "stress-shop".  I bet not.  You are living comfortably in the four corners (well more since you have a really big house) of your parents house so you don't know how it feels to be scared that someone will just snatch your bag while walking or riding a public transport.  You don't know the everyday struggle most of Dutertads have because you are well protected by the wealth of your parents.  NOT your fault I know.  I am not actually blaming you for being born rich but please do not call us - Dutertads, stupid, close minded and blind just because we support the current government with all its flaws, besides, you have never been in our shoes.

We have been friends for as long as I can remember and I do not want our political belief inferences be the end of it but please, stop the nonsense.  You must have hate him so much but you should have known better (intelligent, right?).  Stop being selfish so stop acting like you care for the country by hating PRRD.  Would you rather want that the current government fall apart and have the current VP lead the country?  Well, its a big NO for me.  The only person whom I think is capable of leading the country is already dead. 

Lastly, since you are acting like an intelligent  anti-Duterte, why don't you try to solve the problems of our country rather than posting non-sense rants against PRRD?

1.  Solve the country's problem with the traffic in EDSA (which you yourself complain about).

2.  Solve the country's problem with the terrorist in Mindanao.

3.  Solve the country's problem with drugs (you complain about the current war on drugs and "EJK").

4.  Solve the country's problem with crime, especially those related to drugs.

5.  Solve the country's problem with poverty (why don't you cancel your one whole year trip and donate the money to the poor instead?)

If Duterte, like the others, would fail us, Dutertads..our worlds will not end. We will just continue living our lives and hope that the next one would do a better job. You will be laughing at us by then telling us "we told you so".. but if Duterte would succeed even those who hate him would benefit from it, but don't worry.. there will be no "we told you so" thing because we will be too happy by then to even think about you.

It has only been 100 days since we had a new president - President Rodrigo "Digong"  Duterte.  Life has never been the same for Filipinos both in the Philippine islands and abroad.  I, for one as an overseas Filipino worker, have seen the changes in my beloved land.  So, today we continue to pray for the protection of our land and most especially our President Rodrigo Duterte.  Let's do this Philippines!

IF ALDUB Nation can, why can't we do it for the Philippines?

It has been two days since the ALDUB tamang panahon but we still can't get over that mixed emotions of overjoy and tears.  There have been comments and discussions around social media regarding the Filipinos getting together to impress  the world but why not do it for our country.  So, why do Filipinos easily got united for ALDUB.  Here's what I think.

1.  ALDUB is an entertainment that caught the hearts of a lot of people, Filipinos and foreigners alike.  Philippine politics is such a complicated issue that Filipinos would rather ignore than get stressed.  But this does not mean that we do not care about the Philippines.  We are all stressed out with politics, we just want some light entertainment that has lessons to learn and that is ALDUB.

2.  We all have enough of our day to day pressures in life, ALDUB is our escape.  Can politics help us ease these burdens?

3.  Tamang panahon was for a cause.  We are all sure that all proceeds will go  to the right recipients.

4.  National issues are quite huge and complicated, ALDUB is simple and easy.

5.  It does not mean we don't care about the country's issues, we are all just waiting for the "tamang panahon"  (perfect time)...and that is God's time.  God bless our country.

I still believe that Filipinos can unite if only we all put our hearts in one goal, focus on the lessons and act on it for the country's benefits, just like how we did in Aldub's tamang panahon.  I cannot say when, I cannot say how but for now, we have shown how it is possible to unite 55 thousand people for a cause, what more if the whole Philippines can do something for our beloved land.
